true or false the Mayan and Aztecs had a good relationship ?
its well accepted that cultures in the Americas had a complex and advanced communication and trade system. Mayans had link with Incas and traded using pacific routes. But the Aztecs were not a small insipid force, they would express themselves as a dominant culture which peaceful at times but merciless at war. There are accounts that show Mayan an Aztec wars.
But there where also times where trade flourished and many crops where exchanged and substantially encounter a symbiosis which grew far. But as most readers wont realize is that these are not contemporary civilizations. They did have wars and trade but 1000 of years before the spanish encounter the Aztecs.

A baktun is 20 katun cycles of the ancient Maya Long Count Calendar. It contains 144,000 days or 400 tuns or nearly 400 tropical years. The Classic period of Maya civilization occurred during the 8th and 9th baktuns of the current calendrical cycle. The current (13th) baktun will end, or be completed, on 13.0.0.0.0 (December 21, 2012 using the GMT correlation). This also marks the beginning of the 14th baktun, as such a term is usually used among Mayanists.
J. Eric S. Thompson states that when a Long Count of, say, 9.15.10.0.0 is placed in the 9th baktun, we are almost certainly committing an error, like placing the year 2008 in the 2nd millennium. However, that practice is so well established among Maya epigraphers and other students of the Maya that to change it would cause more harm than its perpetuation.

Could we please know what the real facts are about the Mayan prophecies of 2012?
So far my studies indicate that the 2012 stories are all false and based on counter argumentation that at the end no real information is conveyed. All lies. People say about Obama, some other say about the Israel, etc.
No one really knows if the mayan prophecies are true either, ask the real archeologists, the scholars and so forth. They will all tell you real science and real results. So stop wondering and start thinking about change in your life !
